At V1, our name reflects a crucial moment in aviation — V1 is the point during takeoff when a plane has reached the speed necessary to lift off the runway. This moment signifies a leap into the air, where the craft must commit to flight, using immense power to break free from the ground.

Building a business is much the same. It takes tremendous effort and energy to get started — like the energy needed to speed down the runway. Reaching V1 in a business is about reaching that pivotal moment where the idea has gained enough traction and momentum to take off, leaving behind the limitations of the ground.

Once the business takes flight, it requires more power and precision to rise, just as an aircraft does when climbing into the sky. V1 Scale is the culmination of a 40-year career in entrepreneurship, property, and venture architecture. Led by a founder who has navigated multiple economic cycles, our mission is to provide mid-market leaders with the "Structural Hardening" required to build generational assets.

A Legacy of Scale
Over the last 12 years alone, our leadership has overseen more than $1.8B in total portfolio volume, scaling enterprises from initial seed funding to 90-person operations. This period included the management of multi-sector development pipelines and healthcare networks, providing a unique vantage point on how complexity and market shocks impact even the strongest firms.
